If you're traveling by car, start from Pokhara, which is approximately 15 kilometers from Begnas Dam. Head east on the Prithvi Highway (H1) towards Lekhnath. After about 10 kilometers, take the exit towards Lekhnath and continue on Begnas Canal Road. Follow the signs for Begnas Lake. As you approach, you will find parking areas near the dam. Keep in mind that parking may incur a small fee, usually around NPR 100.

To reach Begnas Dam via public transport, take a local bus from Pokhara to Lekhnath. Buses leave regularly from the bus station in Pokhara and the fare is about NPR 50. The journey takes approximately 30-45 minutes. Once in Lekhnath, you can hire a local taxi or rickshaw to take you directly to Begnas Dam, which should cost around NPR 300-400. Alternatively, you can walk about 3 kilometers from the bus drop-off point to the dam.

If you prefer to walk from Lekhnath after arriving by bus, head south from the bus station towards Begnas Canal Road. Follow this road for approximately 3 kilometers.
