Getting There

  • Walking

    Starting from the Lakeside area of Pokhara, head north on the main road (Lakeside Road) until you reach the intersection near the Tourist Bus Park. Take a left onto the road leading towards the Sarangkot viewpoint. Continue on this road for approximately 15-20 minutes. You will pass a few local shops and eateries along the way. Keep an eye out for signs leading to the Hanging Bridge. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will reach a small pathway on your right that leads to the Hanging Bridge. Follow this path for about 10 minutes until you see the bridge.

  • Walking

    If you are near Fewa Lake, start from the lakefront and walk towards the north along the eastern edge of the lake. Continue until you reach the suspension bridge that connects to the opposite bank. Cross this bridge and continue walking straight. After crossing the bridge, you will see a path leading uphill. Take this path which will lead you towards the Hanging Bridge. It should take about 30 minutes from the lakefront to reach the Hanging Bridge.

    From the Pokhara Airport, exit and head south towards the main road (Pokhara-Baglung Highway). Turn right and walk along this road for about 1 kilometer until you reach a roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the road leading to the hills (this is the Sarangkot road). Follow this road for about 20-25 minutes, and you will come across a sign indicating the path to the Hanging Bridge on your left. Follow the path for around 15 minutes to arrive at the bridge.
