From the center of Lumbini, head north towards the main road. Walk along the road until you reach the junction with the Siddhartha Highway (approximately 3 km). At the junction, turn left onto the Siddhartha Highway. Continue walking for about 8 km. Look for the signs directing you towards Lekhnath. You will pass through several small villages, so keep an eye on local signage. Once you reach Lekhnath, ask for directions towards Begnas Lake as it is a popular local destination.

Bicycle Rental
Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Lumbini. Start by cycling towards the Siddhartha Highway, which is about 3 km north of Lumbini. Turn left onto the highway and cycle for approximately 8 km. Follow the signs towards Lekhnath and enjoy the scenic countryside. Once you reach Lekhnath, navigate using local signs or ask locals for directions to Begnas Lake.

From Lumbini, walk to the nearest bus stop on the Siddhartha Highway. Take a local bus that heads towards Pokhara or Lekhnath. Inform the bus conductor that you want to get off at Lekhnath. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Lekhnath, ask for directions to Begnas Lake, which is well-known and easy to find.
