Floating Rock Sculpture: Hyderabad's Gravity-Defying Art

The Floating Rock Sculpture has become a striking landmark in Hyderabad, drawing visitors with its intriguing design and seemingly impossible balance. The artist used clay to create two rock boulders, took a mold with Plaster of Paris, and then cast it in fiberglass. The base rock is heavier, while the suspended rock is lighter to ensure balance. The structure is supported by two pipes inserted into each other, disguised with a rope design and coloring.
