    If you are starting from Itanagar's main market area, head southeast on the main road towards the Rajiv Gandhi University. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach a big roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit, which is signposted towards the State Museum. Walk for another 500 meters, and you will see the entrance to the State Museum on your left.

    From the Itanagar Police Station, walk north towards the main road. Cross the road and head straight for approximately 2 kilometers. You will pass a few local shops and eateries. Keep an eye out for the sign directing you to the State Museum on your right as you approach the museum's location.
