Getting There

  • Walking

    Start your journey from the center of Itanagar, near the Itanagar Market. Head east on Arunachal Pradesh State Highway 10 (SH10) for about 1 km until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit at the roundabout onto the road leading towards the Itanagar Gompa (Buddhist Monastery). Continue walking straight for approximately 500 meters. You will see signs for the Gompa directing you left. Follow the winding path uphill; it will lead you directly to the View Point - Above Gompa.

    Alternatively, if you are near the Itanagar Wildlife Sanctuary, exit the sanctuary and head northwest on the same SH10 road. After about 1.2 km, you will reach the roundabout. As mentioned before, take the first exit and continue towards the Gompa. Follow the previous instructions from that point to reach the View Point.

    If you are coming from the Upper Sikiang area, walk down to reach the SH10 road. From there, head southeast towards the roundabout. Follow the previous instructions after reaching the roundabout to get to the View Point.
