Walking
Start from the Jaisalmer Fort, a central point in the city. Exit the fort and head southeast towards Gandhi Chowk. From Gandhi Chowk, walk towards the main market area where you can find shops and local eateries. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with the main road. At this point, take a left onto the main road (Nathmal Ki Haveli will be on your right). Walk straight for approximately 1 km until you reach the end of the city limits. As you walk, you will see various landmarks such as the Patwon Ki Haveli. After exiting the city, you will enter a more rural area. Keep an eye out for local signposts that may guide you. After about 2 km, you should reach an unnamed road marked on your map. Turn right onto this road and continue for about 2.5 km. The Abandoned Village Well will be located at the coordinates 26.868319, 70.787689, which is on this unnamed road.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from various rental shops around Jaisalmer Fort. Start your journey from the Fort and head towards Gandhi Chowk. From there, cycle straight down the main road towards the outskirts of the city. After about 2 km, you will reach the intersection where you can turn left onto the main road. Continue cycling for another 1 km, passing by local shops and eateries until you reach the end of the city. Once outside, take a right on the unnamed road and cycle for approximately 2.5 km until you arrive at the Abandoned Village Well located at coordinates 26.868319, 70.787689.

Public Transport (Auto Rickshaw)
To reach the Abandoned Village Well using public transport, head to the nearest auto rickshaw stand, which is usually found near the Jaisalmer Fort or Gandhi Chowk. Inform the driver that you want to go to the Abandoned Village Well, and they should know the location. The ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive, you will be dropped off at a point where you can walk the remaining short distance to the well, which is about 500 meters away from the main road.
