Start from the Jaisalmer Fort, which is a central landmark. Head east on Fort Road towards the main market area. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Shree Ram Road. Turn left onto Shree Ram Road and walk for about 500 meters until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Gandisar Lake Road. Keep walking towards the lake, and you will see signs directing you towards Dr. K. L. Achalvanshi Colony. Continue straight, and after about 1 kilometer, you will reach New Sunset Point, located in Dr. K. L. Achalvanshi Colony.

Auto-Rickshaw
From any location in Jaisalmer, you can hire an auto-rickshaw to New Sunset Point. Make sure to tell the driver the destination: 'Dr. K. L. Achalvanshi Colony, near Kishan Ghat'. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic, and will cost around 100-150 INR. The auto-rickshaw will drop you off close to the entrance of New Sunset Point.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops near the Jaisalmer Fort. Start from the Fort and ride towards the main market. Follow the same route as the walking directions, heading east on Fort Road, then turning left onto Shree Ram Road. Continue on Gandi Sar Lake Road, and you will arrive at New Sunset Point. The total distance is approximately 3-4 kilometers, making for a pleasant ride through the city.
