If you are traveling by car, start from Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. Head southwest on NH43 towards Khunti. Continue for about 40 km until you reach the town of Khunti. From Khunti, take the road towards Tarub, which is approximately 15 km away. Follow the signs to Dassam Falls. The falls are located about 2 km from the main road, and you will see signs directing you to the parking area. Please note that parking may incur a small fee.

For those using public transport, take a bus from Ranchi to Khunti. Buses are available frequently and the journey takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Khunti, you can hire a local auto-rickshaw or taxi to take you to Dassam Falls. The distance from Khunti to Dassam Falls is around 15 km, and the auto-rickshaw fare should be approximately ₹300-₹500. Ensure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey.
