From the main city center in Ranchi, head towards Mahatma Gandhi Road (MG Road). You can catch an auto-rickshaw from any nearby stand or flag one down. Tell the driver to take you to Namkum. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you reach Namkum, ask the driver to drop you at Kochatoli, a locality within Namkum. The driver will likely know where Kochatoli is. From there, you can ask locals for directions to KUCHANG.
Bus
From the Ranchi Bus Stand, look for buses heading towards Namkum. There are several buses available throughout the day, and the journey will take about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Namkum, get off at the Kochatoli stop. From there, you can either walk or take a short auto-rickshaw ride to KUCHANG, which is a popular landmark in the area.
Cycle Rickshaw
If you're near the main market area in Ranchi, you can hire a cycle rickshaw to take you to KUCHANG. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand. Ask the rickshaw puller to take you to Kochatoli in Namkum, which is the area where KUCHANG is located. The ride will be approximately 1 hour depending on the traffic. Once you reach Kochatoli, ask for directions to KUCHANG from the locals.
