If you are driving, start from Ranchi, the capital city of Jharkhand. Head southwest on the NH43 road towards Bundu. After about 30 kilometers, take a left turn onto the road leading to Hundru Waterfall. Follow the signs, and after approximately 10 kilometers, you will reach the parking area for the waterfall. There may be a nominal parking fee of around INR 20. Ensure to visit the waterfall early in the day as it opens at 8:00 AM.

From Ranchi, take a bus heading to Bundu. Buses are frequent and the journey takes about 1 hour. Upon reaching Bundu, hire a local taxi or auto-rickshaw to take you to Hundru Waterfall. The distance from Bundu to the waterfall is approximately 10 kilometers, and a taxi may charge around INR 200-300 for the trip. Ensure you communicate that your destination is Hundru Waterfall.

If you are near a railway station, you can take a train to Ranchi. Once you arrive at Ranchi Railway Station, follow the bus instructions mentioned above to reach Hundru Waterfall.
