If you are starting from Kanyakumari Main Bus Stand, exit the bus stand and head towards the main road (Kanyakumari - Nagercoil Road). Walk towards the east for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction where the road splits. You will see the iconic Vivekananda Rock Memorial on your left. Continue straight along the road which leads to the beach area.

From anywhere in Kanyakumari, you can hire an auto-rickshaw. Just tell the driver 'Vavathurai Beach' or show them the address '3HM2+5W7, Kanniyakumari, Tamil Nadu'. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes depending on traffic, and you should expect to pay around ₹50 to ₹100.
Public Transport
Take a local bus from the Kanyakumari Main Bus Stand towards Nagercoil. Get off at the stop closest to Vavathurai Beach (ask the conductor to inform you). From there, it’s a short 500-meter walk to the beach. You can follow the signboards or ask locals for directions.
