Car
If you are driving from Srinagar, take the NH 1A highway towards Tangmarg. The drive is approximately 50 kilometers and will take about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic. Once you reach Tangmarg, follow the signs leading to Gulmarg, which is about 12 kilometers away. The road from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is scenic, and you will encounter beautiful landscapes along the way. Be cautious of the winding roads and watch for any wildlife. There is a parking area available near the golf course, with a nominal fee of around INR 100.

Public Transportation
From Srinagar, you can take a shared taxi or a bus to Tangmarg. The bus stand in Srinagar is located at Batmaloo. Buses run frequently throughout the day to Tangmarg and the fare is approximately INR 100-150. The journey will take around 2 hours. Upon reaching Tangmarg, you can hire a local taxi to reach Gulmarg, which is about 12 kilometers away. The taxi fare from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is around INR 300-400. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand.

Cable Car
If you are looking for a unique experience, consider taking the Gulmarg Gondola, one of the highest cable cars in the world. After reaching Gulmarg by car or taxi, head to the Gondola station located near the golf course. The cable car ride offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and is an excellent way to see the area. Tickets for the Gondola start at around INR 700 for a round trip to the first phase. Please note that the Gondola may not operate during adverse weather conditions.
