Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards the city of Srinagar. Follow the main roads (NH44) that lead into Srinagar. On reaching the city, follow signs to Dal Lake. Once you are near the lake, look for the road leading to Chashme Shahi. Pari Mahal is located on the Zabarwan mountain range overlooking Dal Lake. You will find a parking area (near 3VJG+FVC) where you can leave your car. From the parking area, it is a short walk up to the entrance of Pari Mahal.
Public Transportation
To reach Pari Mahal using public transportation, take a local bus or shared taxi from any major area in Srinagar towards Dal Lake. Once you reach the waterfront area of Dal Lake, you can hire a local taxi or an auto-rickshaw to take you to Pari Mahal. Make sure to tell the driver to drop you off at the parking area near 3VJG+FVC. The cost for the local taxi or auto-rickshaw should range between INR 100-300, depending on the distance. After dropping you off, it is a short walk to the entrance of Pari Mahal.
Walking
If you are staying near Dal Lake, you can walk to Pari Mahal. From the waterfront, take the path leading to Chashme Shahi and follow the signs for Pari Mahal. The walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes, offering beautiful views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the path may be uneven in some areas.
