If you are driving from the main Kerala Backwaters area, head towards Kottayam City. From Kottayam, take the Kottayam-Poonjar Road (NH183) heading north. Continue on this road for about 20 kilometers until you reach the junction towards Moonnilavu. Turn left onto Illikkal Kallu Road. After approximately 8 kilometers, you will arrive at Illikkal Kallu. Make sure to keep an eye out for the signboards indicating the route.
