If you are traveling by car, you can use GPS navigation to reach the Kerala Backwater Houseboats located at Povely Building, Kalady Malayattoor Road, Thalayattumpilli, Vadakkumbhagom, Kerala 683574. From Kochi, take the NH 66 highway towards Alappuzha. After approximately 55 km, take the exit toward Kochi - Dhanushkodi Road. Follow the local signs to Thalayattumpilli. Keep an eye out for the Povely Building on Kalady Malayattoor Road, which is your destination. Parking is available on-site.

Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach the Kerala Backwater Houseboats by bus, board a bus from Kochi to Vadakkumbhagom. Buses frequently depart from the Ernakulam Bus Station and the journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, costing around 50-100 INR. Once you arrive at Vadakkumbhagom, you can take a local auto-rickshaw or taxi to Povely Building, which is about 5 km away. The auto-rickshaw fare should be around 30-50 INR.

Public Transportation (Train + Auto-Rickshaw)
You can also take a train from Ernakulam to the nearest railway station, Kottayam. The train journey takes about 1.5 hours and costs approximately 100-200 INR depending on the class. From Kottayam station, hire an auto-rickshaw to take you to the Kerala Backwater Houseboats in Thalayattumpilli, which is about 20 km away. The auto-rickshaw fare will generally be around 200-300 INR.
