If you are renting a car, start your journey from Kochi. Take NH 66 towards Ayyampuzha. As you approach Ayyampuzha, look for the sign for Muankuzhi and turn onto the local road leading to it. Continue driving until you reach the coordinates 10.1968003, 76.5603515. There are signboards along the way that will guide you towards Mahaghony Thottam. Ensure your GPS is updated to avoid any detours.

Public Bus
From Kochi, you can take a bus to Ayyampuzha. Buses are available from the main bus station in Kochi. Once you reach Ayyampuzha, you will need to take a local auto-rickshaw or taxi to reach Mahaghony Thottam, which is approximately 10-15 minutes away. The fare for the auto-rickshaw should be around ₹100-₹150. Ensure to confirm the fare before getting in.

If you prefer traveling by train, take a train from Kochi to the nearest railway station, which is Aluva. From Aluva, you will need to hire a taxi or take a bus to Ayyampuzha. The taxi ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes and could cost around ₹500-₹700. From Ayyampuzha, follow the instructions above to reach Mahaghony Thottam.
