Getting There

• Ferry

  If you are starting from Ernakulam, take a ferry from the Ernakulam Jetty to Fort Kochi. Once you arrive at the Fort Kochi Ferry Terminal, you will be a short walk away from the Folklore Cultural Theatre. Head north on Shani Temple Road, and then take a right onto K.B. Jacob Road. Continue walking for about 10 minutes until you see the Bus Stand Building, where the Folklore Cultural Theatre is located.

• Auto-rickshaw

  From any location in Kochi, you can hire an auto-rickshaw to take you directly to the Folklore Cultural Theatre. Simply tell the driver that you want to go to 'Bus Stand Building, Fort Kochi'. The ride will give you a glimpse of the local area, and it should take approximately 20-30 minutes depending on traffic.

• Public Bus

  If you prefer to take a public bus, head to the nearest bus stop and look for a bus that goes to Fort Kochi. Most buses will announce their stops, but you can ask the conductor to let you know when you reach the Bus Stand Building. From the bus stop, it will be a short walk to the Folklore Cultural Theatre, located within the Bus Stand Building.

• Walking

  If you are already in Fort Kochi, you can easily walk to the Folklore Cultural Theatre. From the main tourist area, head towards the beach and walk along the coast until you reach the Bus Stand Building. The theatre is situated inside this building, and you should see signs directing you to it.
