Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in Fort Kochi, start your journey by heading east towards the main road, MG Road. Walk along MG Road until you reach the intersection with Bazaar Road. Turn left on Bazaar Road and continue straight. You will pass several shops and local stalls as you make your way towards Mattancherry. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will reach the Mattancherry Palace. From there, head towards the end of the road and turn left onto Synagogue Lane. Continue straight, and you will soon see the Paradesi Synagogue on your right.

    From any point in Kochi, locate the nearest bus stop and catch a bus heading towards Mattancherry or Jew Town. Buses are frequent and affordable. Once you arrive at the Mattancherry bus stop, disembark and walk down the main road until you reach the intersection with Synagogue Lane. Turn right onto Synagogue Lane, and the Paradesi Synagogue will be on your right side after a short walk.
