Walking
If you are in Esplanade, start by heading towards the famous Esplanade Bus Terminus, which is a well-known landmark. From there, walk towards Jawaharlal Nehru Road. Continue walking straight for about 15 minutes until you reach St. Paul's Cathedral, which will be on your right. M.P. Birla Planetarium is located adjacent to St. Paul's Cathedral.
Public Bus
From Esplanade, you can catch a local bus heading towards 'Maidan' or 'Victoria Memorial'. Board any bus that has a stop near St. Paul's Cathedral or Jawaharlal Nehru Road. The fare is usually between ₹10-₹20. Once you get off the bus, walk a short distance towards St. Paul's Cathedral to find M.P. Birla Planetarium adjacent to it.
Auto Rickshaw
You can hire an auto rickshaw from Esplanade to M.P. Birla Planetarium. Simply ask the driver to take you to St. Paul's Cathedral. The ride should cost approximately ₹30-₹50, depending on the traffic. The planetarium is just a short walk from the auto rickshaw drop-off point.
Metro
If you prefer to use the metro, head to the nearest metro station from Esplanade, which is 'Esplanade Metro Station'. Take the metro towards 'Kavi Subhash' and get off at 'Maidan Station'. Upon exiting the station, walk towards St. Paul's Cathedral, which should take about 10 minutes. M.P. Birla Planetarium is located next to the cathedral.
