Getting There

  • Metro

    If you are near the Esplanade Metro Station, take the Yellow Line towards Kavi Subhash. Get off at Howrah Station. Once you exit the station, you will see the Howrah Bridge just a short walk away. Follow the signs directing you to the bridge, which will take you through the Howrah Maidan area. The bridge is clearly visible from the station.

    Find a local bus stop and take a bus heading towards Howrah. You can look for buses with 'Howrah' in their route number or destination. The bus will take you to the Howrah bus terminus. Once you get off, walk towards the riverfront, and you will see the Howrah Bridge straight ahead.
