Getting There

  • Metro

    If you are near the Esplanade Metro Station, take the Blue Line towards the Airport station. Get off at the Maidan Metro Station. Once you exit the station, head towards the entrance of the Maidan park. Continue walking in the direction of the Victoria Memorial, and after about 10 minutes, you will see M.P. Birla Planetarium on your left, adjacent to St. Paul's Cathedral.

    From any location in Kolkata, you can board a bus heading towards Esplanade. Once you arrive at Esplanade, look for buses or mini-buses heading to the Maidan area. Get off at the stop near St. Paul's Cathedral. From there, walk towards the Cathedral, and you'll find M.P. Birla Planetarium right next to it.
