If you are driving from Kovalam, head northwest on Lighthouse Road towards Chowara Beach. Continue straight for about 6 km until you reach the junction at Poonthura. Turn left onto the Poonthura Road. After approximately 2 km, you will see signage for Edayar Island. Find a suitable parking area nearby as there may not be parking directly on the island.

Once you arrive at the Thiruvananthapuram Central Bus Station, switch to a bus heading to Poonthura.
