Getting There

    If you are driving to Explore Ladakh from Leh city, head towards Sankar Road. From the main market in Leh, take the road towards the St.ok Palace, continue straight until you reach a T-junction. Take a right at the junction, and you will see the sign for Sankar Road. Continue on this road for approximately 2 kilometers. Explore Ladakh will be on your left, near the Sankar Monastery. Make sure to check for parking as it can be limited.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Explore Ladakh using public transportation, take a local bus or shared taxi from the Leh Main Market towards Sankar. Buses and shared taxis frequently depart from the market and will take you directly to Sankar Road. The fare is typically around ₹20-₹50 per person. Once you reach the Sankar area, ask the driver to drop you off near the Sankar Monastery, which is close to Explore Ladakh. From there, it’s a short walk to your destination.

  • Walking

    If you are already in the vicinity of the Sankar Monastery, you can easily walk to Explore Ladakh. Simply exit the monastery and head south on Sankar Road. The destination is about a 10-15 minute walk from the monastery. Look for signage indicating Explore Ladakh along the way.
