Car
If you are driving, start from Leh Main Market. Head east on Fort Road towards Changspa Road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the main road. Turn left onto the main road and follow the signs for Namgyal Hill. After about 2 kilometers, you will see the Leh Palace on your right. There is parking available nearby.
Public Transport
To reach Leh Palace by public transport, take a local bus from the Leh Main Market. Look for buses heading towards Namgyal Hill or Leh Palace. The journey will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the stop near the palace. From there, follow the signs leading to the entrance, which is a short walk uphill.
Walking
If you are staying in the Leh area, you can walk to Leh Palace from the Main Market. Head east on Fort Road, which will take you directly towards the palace. It’s about a 30-minute walk, and you will enjoy beautiful views along the way. The path is well-marked, and once you reach the base of Namgyal Hill, you will see the palace towering above.
