Once you reach Hemis Monastery, continue straight for another 8 km to reach the entrance of Hemis National Park. Please note that you may need to pay an entry fee to access the park, which can vary.

From Leh, you can take a public bus to Hemis. Buses to Hemis leave from the Leh bus station. The journey takes about 1.5 hours. Ensure you check the bus timetable in advance as services may vary. Once you reach Hemis village, you can hire a local taxi or walk to the entrance of Hemis National Park, which is about 8 km from the village. Be prepared for a small entrance fee to the park.

Another option from Leh is to take a shared taxi to Hemis. You can find shared taxis at the Leh taxi stand. The cost is usually around INR 300-400 per person, and the ride takes approximately 1-1.5 hours.
