Car
If you're in Leh, you can reach Ladakh Trekking by car. Start from Leh city center and head towards Eco House located in Sangkar. Drive on the main road (Fort Road) for about 3 km until you reach the Sangkar area. Look for signs indicating Eco House on your left. The drive should take approximately 10 minutes. Ensure your vehicle is in good condition as the roads can be bumpy.
Public Transportation
From Leh, you can take a local bus or shared taxi to Sangkar. Buses typically leave from the main bus station in Leh. Board a bus heading toward Sangkar and inform the driver of your destination; it should take about 15-20 minutes. Shared taxis are also available and can be found near the bus station or in the main market area. The cost for a bus ride is around ₹30-₹50, while a shared taxi may cost approximately ₹100-₹150.
Walking
If you're staying close to the city center, you might enjoy a scenic walk to Ladakh Trekking. Starting from Leh's main market, head towards Fort Road, continue straight for about 3 km. The walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes. This route offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and local architecture. Ensure you have comfortable walking shoes and stay hydrated.
