If you are driving from Leh, head northwest on Fort Road. Follow the road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit at the roundabout onto Chubi Road. Continue for about 1 kilometer, and then turn left onto Sankar Road. Follow this road for approximately 2 kilometers, and you will arrive at Sankar Gompa, which is located at the end of the road.
