Car
From Leh city center, head south on Fort Road towards Shanti Stupa Road. After about 2 kilometers, turn left onto Shanti Stupa Road. Continue driving for another 1 kilometer; the stupa will be on your right. Parking is available nearby. Note that there is no entry fee to visit Shanti Stupa.
Public Transportation (Shared Taxi)
You can catch a shared taxi from the main market area in Leh. Look for taxis marked for Shanti Stupa or ask locals for directions to the taxi stand. The fare is generally around ₹30-50 per person. The journey takes about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive, the stupa is a short walk from the drop-off point.
Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and enjoy walking, you can hike from Leh city to Shanti Stupa. The distance is approximately 2.5 kilometers and takes around 30-40 minutes. Follow Fort Road until you reach Shanti Stupa Road, then continue walking uphill. The views along the way are beautiful, so take your time. Be cautious of the altitude if you're not acclimatized.
