For those using public transportation, you can take a shared taxi or a local bus from Leh to Khardung La. Shared taxis can be found at the Leh taxi stand and generally leave when full. The fare to Khardung La is around INR 500-700 per person. Once you reach Khardung La, it's about a 5 km walk down to the Photography Point. Alternatively, you can also hire a local taxi from Khardung La to take you directly to the Photography Point for an additional cost.
