From the main square of McLeod Ganj, head towards the Tushita Meditation Centre. Walk past the centre, and continue on the road uphill. After about 15-20 minutes, you will reach the main entrance of Nechung Monastery on your left. The walk is approximately 1.5 km and provides a scenic view of the surrounding hills.
