From the main square of McLeod Ganj, head towards the path leading to the Dalai Lama Temple Complex. Continue walking past the temple until you reach the end of the road. You will see a sign for the Triund trek. Follow the sign and start your ascent towards the trek starting point. It should take about 20-30 minutes on foot.

Taxi
If you prefer not to walk, you can take a local taxi from McLeod Ganj to the trek starting point. Taxis are available throughout McLeod Ganj, and you can negotiate the fare, which typically costs around INR 200-300. The taxi will take you directly to the base of the trek, where the trail begins.

If you have your own vehicle, drive towards the Dharamkot area. Park at the designated parking area near the trek starting point. Follow the signs leading to the Triund trek. Ensure you arrive early to secure parking, as it can get crowded on weekends and holidays.

You can also take a local bus from McLeod Ganj to Dharamkot, which costs around INR 20-30. Once you arrive in Dharamkot, follow the signs leading to the Triund trek. The trek starts from a trailhead located a short distance from the bus stop.
