If you're driving from Mcleodganj, head towards the Gallu Temple. The road to Gallu Temple is well-marked, and you can follow the main road until you reach the temple. There is parking available near the temple. Once parked, you will begin your trek from Gallu Temple along the trail to Triund. Make sure to bring water and snacks, as the trek can take about 3-4 hours depending on your pace.

To reach Gallu Temple by public transport, you can take a local bus or a taxi from Mcleodganj to Dharamshala. From Dharamshala, look for a shared taxi or a bus heading towards Gallu Temple. The bus may drop you at a point close to Gallu Temple, but you might have to walk a short distance if it doesn't go all the way. Once you reach Gallu Temple, start your trek to Triund along the marked trail.

The trek from Gallu Temple to Triund is approximately 9 kilometers and can take 3-4 hours to complete. It is a well-defined path, but be prepared for some steep sections. The trail offers beautiful views of the Dhauladhar range and the valleys below. Make sure to wear comfortable hiking shoes and carry a small backpack with essentials like water, snacks, and a first-aid kit. The temperature can drop in the evening, so pack some warm clothing as well.
