From the main square of McLeod Ganj, head towards the McLeod Ganj bus station. Once you reach the bus station, continue walking towards the road leading to Dharamkot. Follow the signs for 'Triund' which will be visible along the path. The trek starts from the Gallu Devi Temple, which is approximately 2.5 km from McLeod Ganj. It should take about 30 to 40 minutes to reach the temple.

Taxi or Auto-Rickshaw
If you prefer not to walk, you can hire a taxi or an auto-rickshaw from anywhere in McLeod Ganj to Gallu Devi Temple. The ride should cost you between INR 200 to INR 300, depending on your starting point. Once you arrive at the temple, the trek to Triund Base Camp begins here.

After reaching Gallu Devi Temple, begin your trek to Triund Base Camp. The trek is approximately 7 km and usually takes around 4 to 6 hours depending on your pace. The trail is well-marked and offers stunning views of the Dhauladhar range. Make sure to carry enough water and snacks for the journey, as there are limited facilities along the way.
