If you are traveling by car from Shillong, take the NH6 towards Nongstoin. After approximately 56 km, turn left onto the road towards Tyrna (a small village). Continue for about 10 km until you reach Tyrna. You can park your vehicle here in the village parking area. Note that there may be a small parking fee. From Tyrna, you'll need to trek down approximately 3,000 steps to reach the Double Decker Living Root Bridge in Nongriat, which will take around 30-45 minutes.

From Shillong, you can take a shared taxi or bus to Sohra (Cherrapunji). The fare will be around INR 100-150 per person.
