Car
If you're starting from Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya, head southeast on NH6 towards Nongpoh. After about 45 km, take the exit toward Nong Rih. Continue on the road for another 20 km, following the signs to Nong Rih. Once you reach Nong Rih, you can use a local map or ask locals for the last 5 km to Thup Thup Falls, which is located at J6GF+C8, Nong Rih. The drive should take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic and road conditions.
Public Transportation
From Shillong, you can take a shared taxi or a local bus to Nongpoh, which is about 45 km away. The fare for a shared taxi is around INR 100-150 per person. From Nongpoh, you will need to hire a local taxi or an auto-rickshaw to reach Nong Rih. This part of the journey may cost you an additional INR 300-500. Once you reach Nong Rih, you can ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to Thup Thup Falls, which is approximately 5 km away. You may need to walk or hire a local guide for this final stretch.
