Car
If you're driving, start from Shillong, the nearest city. Take the NH6 road towards Mylliem. After approximately 10 kilometers, look for the signs directing you to Wahniangleng. The scenic area is located about 4 kilometers from Mylliem town. Follow the local road signs, and you will reach the scenic spot, which is well-marked. Parking is available near the site.
Public Transportation
From Shillong, head to the local bus station and take a bus towards Mylliem. Buses are frequent and the fare is around ₹20-₹30. Upon reaching Mylliem, you can either take a local taxi or a shared auto-rickshaw to reach Wahniangleng, which is about 4 kilometers away. The taxi fare should be approximately ₹100-₹150.
Walking
If you're already in Mylliem and want to explore, you can walk to Wahniangleng. The walk will take about 1 hour and is approximately 4 kilometers. Follow the main road leading out of Mylliem, and you'll find signs directing you to the scenic spot. It's a beautiful walk through the local landscape.
