Car
If you are driving from Shillong, take the NH6 highway towards Jowai and then continue on the road to Cherrapunji. Once in Cherrapunji, follow the signs for Wei Sohphoh Falls, which is located approximately 10 km from the main town area on the road leading to the Nohkalikai Falls. Look for the marker '7MXX+8MQ' on your GPS to guide you directly to the falls. Parking can be found near the entrance to the falls.
Public Transportation
To reach Wei Sohphoh Falls using public transportation, start by taking a local bus or shared taxi from Shillong to Cherrapunji. The fare ranges from INR 100 to INR 150 per person. Once you arrive in Cherrapunji, you can hire a local taxi or auto-rickshaw to the falls. Negotiate the fare beforehand; it should cost around INR 300 to INR 500 for a round trip. Ensure you confirm the return time with the driver.
Walking
If you are already in Cherrapunji and prefer a more adventurous route, you can walk to Wei Sohphoh Falls. From the main market area, head towards the Nohkalikai Falls road. It's about a 3 km trek to the falls; be prepared for a moderate walk through scenic landscapes. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water along the way.
