Train and Ferry
From Mumbai, head to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CST) or Mumbai CST railway station. Purchase a ticket to Alibag; please note that there is no direct train to Alibag. Instead, take a local train to Mandwa station. The local trains to Mandwa run from CST and take about 1-1.5 hours depending on the schedule. Once you arrive at Mandwa station, exit the station and look for the ferry terminal (Mandwa Jetty) which is nearby. Purchase your ferry ticket to Alibag. The ferry ride takes approximately 30 minutes. After disembarking at Alibag Jetty, you can either walk or take a local rickshaw to Alibaug Beach, which is about 2 km away.

From Mumbai, head to the CST area and locate the bus terminal where you can catch a bus to Alibag. The buses generally depart from the CST area or the nearby Dadar bus station. The bus ride to Alibag takes around 2-3 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive at Alibag, you can find local transport to reach Alibaug Beach, which is approximately 3 km from the bus stand.
