To reach Alibaug Beach from Mumbai, start by heading to the Gateway of India located in South Mumbai. From there, you can take a ferry to Mandwa. The ferry service is frequent, and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Mandwa, you can find local transport options like auto-rickshaws or buses that will take you to Alibaug. The distance from Mandwa to Alibaug is approximately 20 minutes by auto-rickshaw.
Bus
Alternatively, you can take a bus from Mumbai to Alibaug. Head to the Mumbai CST (Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus) or the Dadar bus station, where you can find buses heading to Alibaug. The bus journey takes about 2 to 3 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Alibaug bus stand, you can easily walk or take a local auto-rickshaw to Alibag Beach, which is around 10-15 minutes away.
