Getting There

  • Train

    Start by heading to the nearest railway station. If you're in South Mumbai, make your way to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CST) or Churchgate station. From CST or Churchgate, board a local train heading towards Western Line stations. You can catch a train towards Andheri, Borivali or Dadar. Get off at Mahim station. Once you exit the station, head west on Mahim Station Road until you reach the junction with L.J. Road.

  • Walking

    From Mahim station, exit towards the west on Mahim Station Road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with L.J. Road. Turn left onto L.J. Road and keep walking straight. After a few minutes, you'll reach a small lane on your right leading to Mahim Fort. Follow the lane, and you'll find the fort entrance nearby.

  • Rickshaw

    Alternatively, you can take an auto-rickshaw from Mahim station. Once you exit the station, you can find auto-rickshaws waiting outside. Inform the driver to take you to Mahim Fort. The ride should take around 5-10 minutes depending on traffic. Ask the driver to drop you near the Al Hussain Cooperative Housing Society, and from there, follow the small path that leads to the fort.
