Walking
Start from Mysore Zoo, located near the city center. Exit the zoo and head northwest on Zoo Walk Path Road. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass through a small park area. Look for signs leading to Chimpanzee View Point. The path will lead you to a slight incline; the viewpoint is located at the end of this path. It is a scenic spot where you can observe chimpanzees in their habitat.
Auto-rickshaw
Hail an auto-rickshaw from anywhere in Mysore, and ask the driver to take you to 'Chimpanzee View Point' or provide the address: '8M28+GMH, Zoo Walk Path Rd, Ittige Gudu, Mysuru'. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. The auto-rickshaw will drop you off at the entrance of the Zoo Walk Path, from where it’s a short walk to the viewpoint.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Mysore. Head towards the Mysore Zoo and take the Zoo Walk Path Road. Cycle for about 1.5 kilometers along the path. You will enjoy the scenery along the way, and after a slight ascent, you will reach the Chimpanzee View Point.
