Car
Start your journey from Dimapur, which is a major city in Nagaland. Head southeast on NH29 toward Kohima. Continue on NH29 for approximately 70 km until you reach the junction near Kohima. Take the exit onto NH2 towards Mokokchung. Drive for about 80 km until you reach the town of Mokokchung. From Mokokchung, follow the signs towards Tuli, a small town located approximately 20 km away. The last stretch will take you through Kangtsung. The Tuli waterfall is located at MMC6+H2R, Kangtsung, Nagaland. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for hilly terrain as some roads may be narrow and winding.
Public Transportation
From Dimapur, take a bus or shared taxi to Mokokchung. The journey takes about 3-4 hours. Once in Mokokchung, look for shared taxis or local buses heading to Tuli. These are available near the Mokokchung bus station. The ride to Tuli will take approximately 30-40 minutes. You can ask the driver to drop you off at Kangtsung, where the Tuli waterfall is located at MMC6+H2R. It's advisable to check the bus schedules in advance, as they may vary.
Bike
If you prefer a more adventurous option, you can rent a bike in Dimapur. Follow the same route as described for cars, taking NH29 to Kohima, then NH2 to Mokokchung, and finally to Tuli. Biking allows you to enjoy the scenic views along the way and explore the local landscape. Ensure you follow local traffic rules and wear a helmet. The last stretch may have rough patches, so ride cautiously.
