Getting there

Walking

Start at the Kohima War Cemetery located on Kohima Church Road. From the cemetery, head northeast on Kohima Church Road until you reach the main junction. At the junction, turn right onto National Highway 29 (NH29). Continue walking along NH29, passing through the outskirts of Kohima. Look for local signboards indicating direction towards Kikruma, as Dashokü tu is located in that area. The walk will take you approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. As you approach Kikruma, keep an eye out for H6J7+GMH on the left side of NH29, which is your destination.

Public Transport (Bus)

From the main bus station in Kohima, take a local bus heading towards Kikruma. Ensure to ask the bus conductor to drop you off at Kikruma. The bus journey will take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. Once you reach Kikruma, walk towards NH29, and look for the H6J7+GMH location on your left side. It should be within a short walking distance from the bus drop-off point.

Bicycle Rental

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a local shop in Kohima. Start your journey from the center of Kohima and head towards Kohima War Cemetery. From there, follow the walking directions along NH29 as mentioned above. The total distance is about 10-12 kilometers and should take you around 30-45 minutes by bike depending on your speed and road conditions.
