• Car

  If you are driving to Thakurbari Temple in Gangtok, Sikkim, start from the nearest major city, such as Siliguri. From Siliguri, take the NH10 highway heading towards Gangtok. The drive will take approximately 4-5 hours. Once you reach Gangtok, follow the signs towards Mahatma Gandhi Marg. The temple is located at 8JJ7+27W, Mahatma Gandhi Marg, Arithang, which is in the central area of Gangtok. Parking may be limited, so consider parking in designated areas and walking to the temple.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  To reach Thakurbari Temple using public transportation, board a bus from Siliguri to Gangtok at the Siliguri Bus Station. The bus ride takes around 5-6 hours and costs approximately INR 300-500. Upon arriving at the Gangtok Bus Station, you can take a local taxi or walk to Mahatma Gandhi Marg. The temple is about a 10-15 minute taxi ride from the bus station or a 30-minute walk.
