Car

If you're traveling by car, start your journey from Bhubaneswar, the capital city of Odisha. Take NH16 towards Cuttack, and then follow NH16 north towards Jajpur. Continue on NH16 until you reach the junction for NH20. Take NH20 towards Chandikhol. After approximately 50 km, you will reach the town of Jajpur. From Jajpur, follow the signs to Mantarbadi. The Darbadi waterfalls are located about 20 km from Mantarbadi. The last stretch to the waterfalls is a bit off-road, so a sturdy vehicle is recommended.

Public Transportation

For those using public transportation, board a train or bus to Jajpur. From Jajpur, you can hire a taxi or an auto-rickshaw to take you to Mantarbadi. The fare for an auto-rickshaw from Jajpur to Mantarbadi is approximately ₹300-₹500. Once you reach Mantarbadi, you may need to hire a local vehicle to get to the last stretch to Darbadi waterfalls as public transport does not reach there. This will cost around ₹200-₹400.

Local Transport

Once you reach Mantarbadi, look for local taxis or autorickshaws that are familiar with the route to Darbadi waterfalls. The distance from Mantarbadi to the waterfalls is about 20 km, and the journey will take around 30-40 minutes. Ensure to negotiate the fare beforehand, which is usually in the range of ₹400-₹600 for the round trip. It's advisable to ask the driver to wait for you while you visit the falls.
