Public Bus
From the city center of Panaji, head to the Kadamba Bus Stand located near the bus terminal on the Dr. Afonso de Albuquerque Road. Look for a bus heading towards Usgao or any bus that goes to the nearby areas. The bus ride will take about 45 minutes to an hour. Once you arrive at Usgao, ask the locals for directions to Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary, which is approximately 2 kilometers away. You may need to walk or take a local auto-rickshaw.
Auto-Rickshaw
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take an auto-rickshaw from anywhere in Panaji. Just tell the driver you want to go to Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary in Usgao. The ride will take about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the price before starting your journey to avoid any misunderstandings.
Walking and Local Transport
If you are near the Mandovi River, you can take a ferry to the nearest point and then walk to the nearest bus stop. From there, catch a bus to Usgao. This option offers a more scenic route but may take longer, so plan your time accordingly. Once at Usgao, you can walk or take an auto-rickshaw to Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary.
