Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Panaji, head towards the Municipal Garden located near the Church of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception. Once you reach the garden, take the road leading south towards the ferry terminal. You will find a bus stop nearby. Take a bus heading towards Quepem. Once on the bus, inform the conductor that you want to get off near 'Opposite Holy Cross'. After approximately 45 minutes, you will reach your stop. Once you get off, walk a short distance east until you see Palácio do Deão, located directly opposite the Holy Cross.

  • Bus

    To get to Palácio do Deão from Panaji, walk to the Kadamba Bus Stand located near the city center. From there, board a bus to Quepem. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes. Make sure to tell the conductor that you want to get off at 'Church, Opposite Holy Cross'. After you disembark, walk a few minutes east; the Palácio do Deão will be directly across from the Holy Cross.

  • Auto-rickshaw

    If you prefer a quicker option, you can take an auto-rickshaw from anywhere in Panaji. Simply tell the driver to take you to 'Palácio do Deão, Quepem, opposite Holy Cross'. The journey will take around 30 minutes depending on traffic. Keep in mind that auto-rickshaws do not have meters, so agree on the fare before starting your trip.
