Getting There

Walking
From Fontainhas, start by heading towards the main road, Rua 31 de Janeiro. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with the National Highway 66. This should take approximately 10-15 minutes on foot. Once you reach the highway, take a left turn (east) and continue walking for about 1 kilometer.

As you walk along the National Highway 66, keep an eye out for the signs directing you toward Miramar Beach. You will pass by some local shops and cafes along the way. Continue straight until you reach the junction leading toward Marine Highway.

At the junction, take a right turn onto Marine Highway. The Goa Science Centre & Planetarium will be located a short distance ahead on your left. The entire walk from Fontainhas to the Goa Science Centre & Planetarium should take around 30-40 minutes.

If you prefer to take public transportation, you can catch a local bus from Fontainhas to Miramar. The nearest bus stop is on Rua 31 de Janeiro. Make sure to board a bus heading towards Miramar. The bus fare is typically around ₹10-₹20. Once you reach Miramar, it's a short 10-minute walk to the Goa Science Centre & Planetarium via Marine Highway.
