If you are in the central area of Pondicherry, head towards the beach road (Promenade). From there, walk towards the north along the beach until you reach the junction at Mission Street. Take a left onto Mission Street and continue until it intersects with the ECR (East Coast Road). At this point, you may need to ask locals for directions to Ariyankuppam, as it is a bit further out. After about 3 kilometers, you should see signs for Arikamedu Trust on your right. Follow the signs, and it will lead you directly to the site.

From anywhere in central Pondicherry, hail an auto rickshaw and tell the driver 'Arikamedu Trust'. They are usually familiar with tourist destinations. The journey will take approximately 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to clarify the fare before getting in, and you'll be dropped off right at the entrance.

Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in central Pondicherry. Once you have your bicycle, head towards the beach road (Promenade) and then take Mission Street towards the ECR (East Coast Road). Continue cycling for about 3 kilometers until you find the turnoff for Ariyankuppam. It’s a scenic ride, but be cautious of traffic as you approach the main road. Follow the signs to Arikamedu Trust.
