If you are in the center of Auroville, head south towards the main road, Auroville Road. Once you reach Auroville Road, turn left and continue walking until you see the entrance to Matrimandir on your right. The path is well marked, and you will see signposts directing you towards the Matrimandir Garden of Existence. The total walking distance is approximately 1 kilometer, which should take around 15-20 minutes.

Bicycle
For a more leisurely journey, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Auroville. Once you have your bicycle, ride south towards Auroville Road. Turn left onto Auroville Road and follow the signs to the Matrimandir Garden of Existence. The ride is about 1 kilometer and will take around 5-10 minutes depending on your cycling speed. Be sure to wear a helmet and follow local cycling rules.

If you prefer not to walk or cycle, you can hire a rickshaw from various points around Auroville. Just inform the driver that you want to go to Matrimandir Garden of Existence. The fare should be around ₹50-₹100, depending on your starting point.
